Engraving Material

These plastics (mostly with ABS-core) are suitable for rotary processing. The engraving materials of Eckart are available in sheets with a thin surface for fast and detailed engraving, up to robust plastic materials with thicker surfaces.

Transply

The very thin surface of Transply makes it possible to engrave fine textures without shadow effects. The surface is matt and free of reflections.

Transply HD

The very thin surface of Transply HD makes it possible to engrave fine textures without shadow effects. The surface is matt, free of reflections and cause of its special exterior treatment adjusted for outdoor use.

ABS

ABS is a cost-effective material, which is particularly suitable for rotary engraving. It is ideal for the production of stencils or molds.

Ultraply

Ultraply is a coated plastic material for industrial use. The acrylic surface makes it resistant to chemicals. Ultraply can be also used for laser engraving and the surface is scratch-resistant. The flexibility of this material in the border area prevents hole break out.

ECP

ECP is a cost- effective material based on polystyrene. The microthin top layer makes it possible to engrave fine textures without a shadow effect.

Melamin

Melamin is a laminated sheet of synthetic resin, which is made for highly sophisticated engraving and resistant to aging.
